ROSIE
TURNER
SEA OF DREAMS
Sea of Dreams is an exploration of the unconscious, using the ocean as a metaphor for the inner world of dreams, memory, and emotion. Drawing on artist Rosie Turner’s interest in Jungian dream analysis, surrealism, and personal storytelling, the exhibition brings together paintings, ceramics, and prints that reflect the fluid and symbolic nature of the psyche. Sea motifs like shark eggs, pearls, and spiralling shells sit alongside the edge of a dagger, a hunting trap, and the cold stare of a sphynx. This contrast is designed by the artist to be both unsettling and seductive. With soft pinks, deep blues, and shimmering silver tones, these works create a space that sits between waking and dreaming - a place where images from the depths of the mind gently rise to the surface.
