Michael McIntyre is an artist living and working on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Darkinjung Country. McIntyre’s work is concerned with nature and interconnectivity. The artwork is always handmade and often uses found or natural materials.
McIntyre’s practice spans printmaking, textiles, painting and installation with a distinct process-driven approach grounded in material experimentation and manipulation. His work engages with themes of complexity, history and change and invites us to consider the visible and invisible forces shaping our experience of everyday life.
